Get a pair. Just do it. If you're a lifter these are fantastic! Everyone will ask you about them also. From the sound it draws attention in a good way.

The collars are amazing. Only thing holding them back from 5 stars is that they aren't rated for getting dropped doing Olympic lifts. Company is awesome, stands behind their products if anything goes wrong.

Those grip collars were Great . They did as was advertised. Once you put them on they didn't let go and they were easy to take off so I could do my quick weight plate changes. I like you products. I may order 2 more. Got to wait for my retirement check. At the end this month.

I got these clips thinking they wouldn’t slide off and one of them doesnt stay. It continues to slide off

I purchased these back in early October. I used them 4 to 5 times a week since receiving them. By December they started getting week. One clamp starting loosing its grip. As of today February 13, 2026 they do not work at all. The clamps slide on and off with no bracing. They have zero ability to even stay on the bar. I am giving them a 3 star because they were awesome for 2 months, good for 2 more and then they are junk. If you use them with light weights and only a couple times a week, they may last longer.

For metal barbells with normal diameter sleeves they work very well. Axles, bandbell bars or any other may not work as well. Definitely 2 handed pull off for me so far but once locked on even with deadlifts, plates stay still. They work and work well, just not on every possible device, still 5 stars

The product is great! Communication about when I would receive the collars was not forth coming. Receiving the collars 4 months after I purchased them is not good customer service.

Love these collars so far. They feel sturdy and slide on smoothly yet are easy to take off.

I wish I never dropped it. The design and execution of these collars are incredible, but the materials are cheap. I workout in a spare room so I don’t drop anything on purpose. Accidents do happen though. I dropped one and there is now a rattle inside. The dropped one doesn’t function smoothly anymore depending on where whatever is rattling is located when I engage/disengage the locking mechanism.

If they make a V2 with high quality aluminum and a magnet, that would be amazing. This V1 version, sadly, is destined for the landfill.

I purchased these to mainly use for olympic lifts. I noticed during snatches and cleans one stays in place but the other one slides down the bar sometimes as much as 4 inches on a single drop. I contacted customer service and they advised these were not designed for olympic style lifting (drops). I wish in the description it would of stated this and i would of purchased something different.

Its OK. Not as good as the clamp ons. Quick though.

I use these at my Olympic weightlifting gym. I loaded a 5 kg plate outside the collar, and it broke, probably my bad for being too lazy to pull them off and put the 5K plate inside, but I was going EMOM. The spring-loaded plate fell off. These look really cool and stay in place well, but I'd really like to see a little more durability.

Just got them and used them in a 60 minute chipper. Absolutely the best clips I've used and I've used them all. (I own a CrossFit Lowell.) Going to use them for a month to see how they hold up to abuse and then replace everything we have if all looks good.

Why isn’t everyone using these? So easy. Secure. Just a no-brainer.
