SAE GRADE 5 HARDWARE
We use 5/8" diameter SAE grade 5 bolt hardware for unparalleled strength and reliability. These bolts offer the perfect balance of robustness, ductility, and aesthetics, making them ideal for the heavy-duty demands of the SR1, ensuring both safety and stability.

Built from 3x3 11-gauge thick profile steel tubes, its extremely stable and torsion-free construction ensures durability and strength. The 4' x 4' base frame guarantees high stability without any wobbling, making it the perfect choice for heavy-duty performance.
Competition J-Cups
The SR1 comes with competition sandwich J-cups that fit up to 2" bars. These J-cups have a UHMW plate between steel brackets, providing a secure and protective hold for your barbell. The UHMW plastic on the clasp where the J-cup attaches to the rack prevents metal-to-metal contact, ensuring added protection and durability.
Design
We've completely revamped the design, transforming the hole pattern to 2 inches from top to bottom of the uprights. This change makes the SR1 more versatile than ever, enhancing its practicality with fully numbered holes for quick and easy attachment. The Iron Bull Half Rack was the ideal solution for my home gym needs. Given the modular approach and multiple build options, I was able to optimize the limited space I had available and maximize the potential of my home gym set up.
I had the opportunity to see one of their half-racks at a local fitness store and it convinced me to try their online rack builder. I had considered other manufacturers, but the quality of build I saw firsthand convinced me to go with Iron Bull, and I am very satisfied that the final product matched the quality I saw from their displays. The delivery was swift and the assembly was seamless. The final build feels extremely solid and reliable, and is a perfect fit for any home gym.
All in all, I can whole heartedly recommend this half rack.
