Choosing the Right Lever Belt
Every lifter’s journey is different, and finding the right belt is all about your goals, comfort, and training style. Here’s a quick guide to help you choose:
- 10mm Lever Belt : Great for everyday strength training, offering firm support with a bit more give for comfort.
- 13mm Lever Belt : Thicker, stiffer, and ideal for experienced lifters pushing serious weight, especially in squats and deadlifts.
- Lever for Lever Belt: A durable replacement for worn or broken levers. Easy to install and built to last, it keeps your belt, and your training, going strong.
3-Inch vs 4-Inch Lever Belt — Which Width Fits Better?
Width changes how much of your core the belt covers and how it sits against your hips at the bottom of a squat. A 4-inch lever belt is the powerlifting standard, giving more surface area for bracing, and is the most common choice for back squats and deadlifts. A 3-inch lever belt suits lifters with a shorter torso, or anyone who finds a 4-inch belt digging into their hips on a low-bar squat. If you're unsure, 4-inch is the safer default for general powerlifting; go 3-inch if comfort at the bottom of a squat is your priority.
Lever Belts for Women
Belt sizing comes down to waist measurement, not gender, but our 3-inch lever belts and dedicated pink lever belt options are cut and styled for a better fit on a shorter torso. Same 10mm IPF-approved construction, just sized right.
